Bollettieri died at his home in Bradenton, Florida, on December 4, 2022, at the age of 91

Bollettieri’s death was confirmed by the IMG Academy.

He remained active into his 80s, touring the world to drop in on the top tournament

In 2014 he was inducted to the International Tennis Hall of Fame
