A receiver who most recently shifted to national champion Georgia from Mississippi State was arrested on misdemeanor and felony charges.
Jail records indicate he was arrested by the University of Georgia Police.
He was booked on felony charges of false imprisonment and the misdemeanor count of family violence battery.
Thomas is from Eufaula, Alabama, and was Mississippi State's leading receiver in last season.
He declared his transfer to Georgia in December and won its straight national championship.
