Contract employee dies at Wood River Refinery

1 dead, 1 injured after crane overturns at Wood River Phillips 66 refinery

One person has died and another was severely injured in a crane accident

This accident occurred in Wood River Philips 66 on Tuesday morning

The accident occurred at 10:45 a.m. Tuesdsay

The Madison County Coroner’s Office reports that Chad L. Crabtree, 47, of Owensboro, Kentucky, died from the incident.

An investigation into the incident is underway

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration will investigate the situation
