Charles Raymond White was an American professional football player.

Charles was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons during the 1980s.

White was an All-American and Heisman Trophy winner while playing college football for the University of Southern California.

He participated in NFL games with the Los Angeles Rams and the Cleveland Browns.

White died of liver cancer on January 11, 2023, at the age of 64.

The University of South California (USC) announced White’s demise who is still the Trojans’ career rushing leader with 6,245 yards.

The nine-year National Football League (NFL) veteran died in Newport Beach, California.
